Sagtec Global Secures $3M Dubai Order for 1,500 AI Restaurant Robots

Sagtec Global (NASDAQ: SAGT) is scaling its artificial intelligence robotics business with the commercial launch of its Halo AI food-serving robot and a purchase order worth approximately $3 million for 1,500 units. The order comes from SMD Tech, Sagtec’s exclusive distributor in Dubai, with the robots expected to be deployed across restaurants and hospitality businesses throughout the Middle East. Halo AI is designed to work alongside employees by handling repetitive tasks such as delivering food and beverages while improving operational efficiency and consistency.

The agreement represents an important transition for Sagtec from developing and testing AI robotics technology to large-scale commercial deployment. Beyond the initial hardware sales, the company sees opportunities to generate additional recurring revenue through software, subscriptions, maintenance, and technology services, potentially creating a broader long-term revenue stream around its growing robotics platform.
