Safe Space Global CEO Unveils AI System Designed to Detect Concealed Weapons at Schools
Safe Space Global CEO and Chairman Scott Boroff discusses the company’s new exclusive partnership with BMRT Security to jointly develop a security solution designed to detect concealed threats before they reach schools. Boroff explains that BMRT’s technology can detect signatures associated with ammunition even when concealed inside a backpack or moving vehicle, while Safe Space Global’s physical AI platform can identify, verify, and alert personnel to potential threats. The system is being integrated with 911 Inform to help accelerate lockdowns and emergency response when seconds matter.
Boroff also discusses Safe Space Global’s broader AI security strategy across schools and nursing homes, including technology designed to protect dementia patients without requiring wearable RFID devices. He says the company has moved into the commercialization stage with a working product, an established team, 15 paying clients and real contracts, while pursuing recurring SaaS revenue and expansion in its two primary markets.
