IGC Pharma Completes Phase 2 Alzheimer’s Trial Enrollment With 168 Participants

IGC Pharma has completed enrollment in its Phase 2 CALMA trial evaluating lead drug candidate IGC-AD1 for agitation associated with Alzheimer’s dementia. The study randomized 168 participants, including planned over-enrollment intended to strengthen the evaluable dataset for end-of-treatment, secondary, and exploratory analyses.

With enrollment complete, the trial now moves through final participant visits and follow-up, followed by database lock, unblinding, and top-line analysis. IGC Pharma expects to report top-line results in the fourth quarter of 2026.
