Envoy Medical Reports Strong 12-Month Results for Fully Implanted Cochlear Implant

Envoy Medical (NASDAQ: COCH) has announced positive 12-month clinical data from the first 10 participants in Stage 1 of its pivotal trial evaluating the investigational Acclaim® Fully Implanted Cochlear Implant. Participants achieved a mean Consonant-Nucleus-Consonant (CNC) word recognition score of 53.2%, compared with a 15.2% pre-implantation baseline, representing a 38-point improvement after one year.

According to CEO Brent Lucas, the results build on the encouraging six-month data and demonstrate continued improvement over time, supporting the company’s goal of developing a fully implanted cochlear implant designed to provide a more natural hearing experience without external hardware.
