BioVie Completes Long COVID Trial Enrollment With Data Expected This Summer

BioVie (NASDAQ: BIVI) announced it has completed enrollment in its Phase 2 ADDRESS-LC clinical trial, evaluating BeziStirum as a potential treatment for neurological and neuropsychiatric symptoms associated with Long COVID. The company expects top-line data later this summer as it studies whether the therapy can help address symptoms including fatigue, cognitive dysfunction, post-exertional malaise, and sleep disturbances.

The study is fully funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of Defense, and targets a major unmet medical need, as millions of Americans continue experiencing long-term limitations linked to Long COVID. Currently, there are no FDA-approved treatments for the condition.
