Glint CEO: New Miami Vault Brings Spendable Physical Gold Closer to U.S. Customers

Sep 24, 2026

Glint CEO Jason Cozens discusses the fintech company’s expanding U.S. presence and the launch of a new Brink’s vaulting option in Miami. U.S. customers can now choose between Miami and Zurich for newly purchased gold and silver, giving them greater control over where their allocated precious metals are physically stored. Cozens says a U.S. vault had been one of the company’s most requested customer features.

Cozens also explains Glint’s model of direct allocated gold ownership and how it differs from gaining gold exposure through an ETF. Glint customers can buy physical allocated gold and use its value for purchases through the Glint app and Mastercard. Looking ahead, Cozens envisions an expanding gold-based payments and financial-services ecosystem, while the company is also lowering the barrier to entry by allowing customers to purchase as little as $10 worth of gold.
