Roadzen CEO: 49% Revenue Growth, $100M Target and Path to AI Profitability
Roadzen (NASDAQ: RDZN) founder and CEO Rohan Malhotra discusses the strongest quarter in the company’s history, with revenue increasing 49% year over year despite what is normally a seasonally weaker period. Roadzen generated $16.2 million in quarterly revenue, reduced its adjusted EBITDA loss to approximately $370,000, and delivered its second consecutive Rule of 40 quarter with a score of roughly 47. Malhotra says growing adoption of Roadzen’s proprietary AI technology among insurers, automakers, and fleet operators is helping drive the company’s momentum.
Malhotra also explains Roadzen’s path from a roughly $65 million annualized revenue run rate toward its $100 million target, supported by approximately $30 million in newly announced annual contracts and the planned acquisition of a profitable European short-term car rental insurance business generating about $20 million in revenue. He discusses Roadzen’s goal of reaching positive adjusted EBITDA, the company’s acquisition strategy, and why its proprietary AI models could differentiate Roadzen from other AI companies as it scales its presence in the global auto insurance market.
