Lantern Pharma Receives EMA Clearance for LP-184 Bladder Cancer Trial

Lantern Pharma (NASDAQ: LTRN) has received European Medicines Agency (EMA) clearance for an investigator-initiated Phase 1b/2 clinical trial evaluating its lead drug candidate LP-184 in patients with advanced recurrent bladder cancer. The study will be conducted in Copenhagen, Denmark, at the country’s National Referral Center for Urological Cancers in collaboration with leading urothelial cancer specialist Professor Per Lindgren.

The trial will evaluate a biomarker-guided precision oncology approach for patients with advanced or metastatic urothelial carcinoma who have progressed on, or are ineligible for, current standard-of-care treatments. The announcement marks another important milestone for Lantern Pharma as it continues advancing its AI-powered RADR® platform and expanding the clinical development of LP-184 across multiple cancer indications.
