Lantern Pharma (NASDAQ: LTRN) has received a Notice of Allowance from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for a patent application covering methods for selecting and treating patients with LP-184, the company’s targeted cancer therapy. The allowed claims include potential treatment applications for ovarian, primary liver, kidney, and thyroid cancers, strengthening the intellectual property protection surrounding Lantern’s oncology pipeline.

Lantern’s proprietary RADR® artificial intelligence platform played a central role in the development of LP-184 by leveraging AI and genomic data to identify targeted therapeutic opportunities. The company plans to continue expanding its patent portfolio with additional filings covering new cancer indications and biomarker-guided applications for LP-184.
