NeOnc Receives Abu Dhabi IND Approval for Brain Cancer Drug NEO100
NeOnc Technologies (NASDAQ: NTHI) has received Investigational New Drug (IND) approval from health regulators in Abu Dhabi for its lead drug candidate, NEO100. The approval enables the company to advance multiple clinical studies in both adult and pediatric patients with high-grade gliomas, an aggressive form of brain cancer. NEO100 is a non-invasive therapy administered through the nose, allowing treatment to bypass the blood-brain barrier and deliver therapy directly to the brain.
The approval expands NeOnc’s global clinical development program alongside ongoing U.S. studies. The company’s Phase 2a trial of NEO100 is already fully enrolled, with top-line results expected by the end of July. NEO100 has also received FDA Orphan Drug, Fast Track, and Rare Pediatric Disease designations in the United States, supporting its continued regulatory development.
