Medicus Pharma Advances Prostate Cancer Program With EU Clinical Trial Filing

Medicus Pharma (NASDAQ: MDCX) announced the successful submission of a substantial modification application through the European Union Clinical Trials Information System (CTIS) to support its planned Phase 2b study of Teverelix in advanced prostate cancer. The filing marks an important step in the company’s strategy to advance the therapy toward registrational development.

The planned Phase 2b study is designed to optimize dose selection and further evaluate the pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, efficacy, and safety profile of Teverelix, particularly for prostate cancer patients with elevated cardiovascular risk who require androgen deprivation therapy. Medicus believes the program addresses a significant unmet need within one of the largest prostate cancer treatment populations.
